For more than three decades, Hal has developed leaders and helped others become their best selves. Hal was an executive at Infusionsoft from 2011 to 2018 and most recently was Chief People Officer. During this time, he oversaw culture, leadership development, and human resources. As an executive, he enabled the growth of Infusionsoft from $20 million to $100+ million in revenues and from 170 to 650+ employees. He developed and scaled culture initiatives that resulted in Infusionsoft being named by Fortune Magazine and Great Places to Work as one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Women, one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials and 13th best medium-sized company. Throughout his career, he has been a culture architect and evangelist that unifies and connects people and culture to business strategy.
Previously, Hal was co-founder and CEO of NorthSky, a website hosting company that was acquired by About.com. NorthSky is where Infusionsoft co-founders Clate Mask and Eric Martineau and several other early Infusionsoft employees got their first job in software. Hal began his career as an investment banker, working in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Hal received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and BA in finance from the University of Utah. As a father of four, he spent two decades coaching his kids in a variety of youth sports and today enjoys music, adventure cycling, snowboarding and surfing.
